Hello. I haven't been updating my blog for a month or so. Busy lah, so many things to do.

So yeah, I am so relieved that I have done my TOEFL. It feels like one third of the burden you hold has been taken away from you. I do understand that some people might think that TOEFL is so freaking easy. It is an English language test, why make it such a big issue? Right?

Well, it does matter to me though.

We (All the Pets and the Bankees) were supposed to sit for the test at some centers in KL on the same day, which was September 6th but a day before the test, we received an email informing us that our test date was delayed to 18 November (Mine was on 10 Nov). Oh crap. That date is so late one. Haha. Although I did feel that if I were to take the exam on November, I could have done better, I didn't want to wait for months. I wanted to get over it ASAP. I logged in to my ETS online and searched for the link where I could change the test date, praying hard that there would be an empty seat :(

Thank God there were a few seats available. I quickly changed my test date to 16 September 2012. I only realized after confirming my new test date that 16 Sept was Hari Malaysia. Aiyaa. We would have to brave the annoying traffic jam from KL to Penang since the only place available was the TOEFL center at Penang.

*The morning before we left KL for Penang, we had our SAT Practice Test 3 together @ TULC.

Bla Bla Bla Bla. (I was sleeping throughout the journey. Cannot tahan lah, carsick.)

By 5.00 pm, we reached Penang. Penang was awesome! It looked so different from my first visit six years ago, seriously! (or did I actually forget how Penang had looked like? Think so..) By the way, after having our dinner, my family and I went for a walk in hope to find the KDU College, the center for the TOEFL test. The funny thing was we had actually walked toward the opposite direction and ended up walking around the longer path when actually, the KDU College was just behind our hotel. Screw it. Haha.

16 Sept 2012.
I got up at 6 a.m., prayed and went down to fill my stomach with the tasty breakfast. Then, we straight away went to the college though it was pretty early in the morning. Around 7.50 a.m., if I can still depend on my subconscious mind. Early bird catches worms, remember? :) I saw Tyler with his family going to eat at the Chinese restaurant opposite of the college, across the main road. Since I still had some times, I opened up my big fat TOEFL book, just to refresh a few things.

By 9 a.m., we started the test. I was the second person to start first, since I registered early. I hated it because when I started my reading section, everyone else was still making some noises, adjusting the microphone or simply passing by me. Urghh, I lost my concentration. This sounds like an excuse for not doing good enough in Reading section, I know. Haha. Oh, by the way, an Arab man was sitting next to me. Aiyaa, his voice was so loud. Making me double stress! Anyway, I managed to finish my TOEFL by 12.30 a.m. What tickled my funny bones was the fact that a few seconds after I finished the whole test, Tyler finished his too. Was I too slow or did he skip a lot of extra time? Haha.

Bla Bla Bla Bla again.

Went back to KL ^___^

**I did not get to eat Char Kuey Teow (so sad) because I could not find any halal restaurant. But, it's okay lah,  I will learn to cook it by myself! Recipe from Abang Google kita :)
